In an effort to keep away seagulls from harassing people and snatching
harbor-side meals from diners, the Sydney Opera House is testing out a
group of dogs to chase the nuisance birds away and safeguard the dining
venues around the landmark.
Four adorable dogs Roxy, Penny, Scamp and
Tauzer will be on patrol fighting off any gull which attempts to steal
food from diners.
Early results from the new dog patrol trial have reportedly been overwhelmingly positive, with restaurant staff recording an 80 percent reduction in meal replacements due to seagulls.
