Upcoming Webinar Aims to Help Retailers Create a Store “Experience”
The Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA) will hold a free webinar Oct. 7 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (EDT) about how retailers can improve their sales, and keep clientele, by creating a store “experience.”
The webinar, hosted by Global Pet Expo and Pet Store Pro, will be presented by Leel Michelle, founder of in San Diego.
“In a competitive e-commerce, and big-box store market place…brick-and-mortar pet retailers have the flexibility to use tools that our competitors don’t, ‘the store experience,’” according to the webinar description. “Pet owners are searching for more than a place to buy ‘stuff,’ they want to support companies and products that not only align with their beliefs…They also want to experience the next ‘Instagram-able’ moment. Brick-and-mortar retailers who provide multi-sensory ‘experiences’ will ultimately increase their profit margins and garner a loyal following.”
